After showcasing the Burgman Street 125 at the 2018 Indian Auto Expo, Suzuki motorcycles and scooters India is rumored to launch the maxi-scoter in the Indian market as spyshots of the fully undisguised scooter has emerged during a TVC shoot.
The Burgman Street 125 follows the Burgman series' doozie design language. Like its elder siblings, the Burgman Street 125 provides a big maxi scooter feel with its LED headlamps, body mount windscreen, fully digital instrument console, flexible outstretched foot position and front disc brakes.
Although the Burgman Street 125 shares its underpinnings with Suzuki Access 125, it will be more youth-centric and luxurious. Powering the scooter is the same 124 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Access 125, with similar mechanical output, 8.5 BHP of power and 10.2 Nm of torque.[gallery size="full" ids="4022,4023"]Although the scooter has no direct competitors in the Indian market, the Burgman Street 125 will lock horns with Honda Grazia, TVS NTorq, and Aprilia SR125 once it is launched.
